Announcement: My Blog has a new home!
This is to announce the change in hosting of my Testing Perspective blog (earlier hosted at http://testingperspective.blogspot.com) to the parent website at the link http://www.testingperspective.com . Please update your bookmarks to reflect the same. The previous blog will be maintained for a couple of months and then discontinued.
The new blog is powered by Wordpress.
It was quite a tedious task to port all the existing posts and comments to the new blog. As with Blogger, I did not have direct access to the database, I had to manually copy paste the contents of posts and comments one by one (I am not sure if there’s a better way out), then go to the back end database of the new blog to change the dates and other information. I have realized after all this effort, how important this step was. Now on, I do not have to waste my time on any such thing, as I have access to all the contents including the DB.
I have tried my best to keep the contents as close as possible to my previous blog. If you find any issues, please bring them into knowledge. Changes which were done during transferring the contents are:
- Posts related to Python have been removed altogether because the contents of those posts are now present in an organized format of a book on the Testing Perspective website under the How Would Pareto Learn(TM) project.
- I observed some SPAM comments which were trying to sell the “World of Warcraft” to me and the readers. They have been removed.
- The links in the body of the posts have been updated to point to updated locations in the new blog.
- I have updated the comments to include the website of the person who left the comment, thereby replacing the default Blogger profile link usually found on the Blogger comments. This is true for all the guys who have a website/blog that I know of. For others, I have retained the Blogger profile link.
The links to my weblog throughout my site have been updated to point to the new blog location.
Suggestions and feedback are welcome!
Regards,
Rahul Verma
